Ms Rachel Leung is originally from Hong Kong. She completed a Bachelor of Music (majoring in Piano and Pedagogy) and a Master’s degree in Music Therapy in Australia. She obtained her first professional registration as a Music Therapist with AusMTA (the Australian Music Therapy Association).
Following her graduation, Ms Leung worked in Hong Kong as a Registered Music Therapist and piano tutor. She delivered music therapy services across a range of settings, including special schools, day care centres, nursing homes, and community centres, supporting clients of different ages and needs.
Ms Leung also has extensive piano teaching experience (20 years) and successful outcomes in providing piano lessons for children with special educational needs.
In 2022, Ms Leung relocated to the North West of England. She is currently a Registered Music Therapist with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council, UK).
